Haward Razor exhibited at the 71st China (Guangzhou) International Beauty Expo, held September 4–6, 2026, at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou. As an OEM razor manufacturer, we used the exhibition to present our product range and discuss how product design, packaging, and sourcing requirements fit different beauty and personal care businesses.

The China International Beauty Expo brought together activities across the beauty industry supply chain, including manufacturing, packaging, beauty tools, and personal care products. This setting provided a relevant context for conversations with buyers evaluating both individual shaving tools and broader private label opportunities.
At booth 4.2G11E, our display combined packaged products with individual samples arranged on open shelves. Visitors could examine handle shapes and colors alongside examples of retail presentation. Large product graphics highlighted men’s razors, women’s razors, and facial grooming tools, while our team discussed the products directly with visitors.
Our exhibit included manual razors, disposable razors, system razors, women’s razors, eyebrow razors, and facial razors. The capabilities presented included OEM/ODM product development, logo and color customization, razor handle customization, cartridge options, and private label packaging.
For our team, these conversations connected the physical products with practical sourcing questions: what buyers wanted to differentiate, which details influenced their assessment, and what needed clarification before a project could move toward sampling and quotation.
What We Learned from Buyer Conversations
Our team spoke with trading companies, importers, distributors, e-commerce sellers, and beauty retail chains. Some importers and distributors also operated their own brands, while a smaller part of the conversations involved hotel procurement. These different business models brought different expectations to the same display.
One colleague reported particularly strong interest in women’s razors, alongside inquiries about eyebrow razors. Another encountered more interest in products positioned toward the middle and upper price ranges, including handles combining metal and rubber and products presented in gift boxes. These observations helped us identify several directions for follow-up without assuming that one category represented every buyer’s priorities.
A useful takeaway was the importance of considering the razor and its presentation together. Visitors discussed handle appearance, grip feel, color, and packaging alongside price. Some wanted a more distinctive silhouette; others responded to the physical feel of a handle or the presentation of a boxed set. For product development, this feedback helps separate visual differentiation from the tactile qualities buyers evaluate when holding a sample.
Minimum order quantity, packaging, price, and delivery time were recurring commercial questions. Buyers also asked whether using an existing brand and packaging could make a smaller starting commitment possible. This was a request for clarification, rather than confirmation of a different MOQ policy, and it highlighted the need to define the proposed configuration before discussing purchasing terms.
The exhibition also revealed the limits of broad domestic-versus-overseas comparisons. Our colleagues reported different patterns in price sensitivity, gift packaging preferences, and interest in innovative handles. The practical implication is to qualify each inquiry by destination market, sales channel, intended positioning, and product requirements instead of relying on geography alone.
These findings gave our team a more specific basis for subsequent discussions. Women’s grooming assortments, handle differentiation, and gift packaging emerged as topics worth exploring further. Questions about connection stability and beginner confidence added another dimension to sample evaluation. For buyers assessing a private label razor supplier, the value of this follow-up is a clearer connection between the product they liked at the booth and the requirements of a commercially workable project.

From Our Sales Team: Five Observations from the Exhibition Floor
Women’s Grooming Interest Needs a Clearly Defined Product Brief
One colleague identified women’s razors as a frequent inquiry category and noted interest in blue and pink colors, handle styling, and more innovative designs. Eyebrow razors also appeared among the products attracting attention in that colleague’s conversations. Another colleague’s discussions leaned more toward premium shaving products, showing that interest varied across the visitors each person met.
For beauty brands and category managers, this suggests an opportunity to explore women’s grooming with a specific assortment brief. Body shaving, eyebrow grooming, and facial grooming serve different purposes; selecting a color alone does not define the product proposition.
As a women’s razor manufacturer with eyebrow and facial razor products, we offer product options and customization capabilities that can support these discussions. Buyers approaching us as an eyebrow razor supplier or facial razor manufacturer should specify the intended application, preferred product format, target positioning, color direction, and packaging requirements. Those details provide a more useful starting point for sample selection than a general request for a women’s grooming range.

Handle Appearance and Grip Feel Can Produce Different Reactions
Our team received mixed feedback on handle design. Some visitors appreciated the feel of a sample but wanted a more distinctive appearance. Other conversations showed positive reactions to metal-and-rubber handles, while black-and-white zinc alloy handles and an orange color option also attracted interest. A question about the frequency of new product development reinforced the attention paid to product freshness.
These responses matter because a handle communicates both visual identity and physical experience. A design that feels substantial in the hand may still require a different shape or color direction to fit a particular brand.
Our razor handle customization, logo customization, and color options provide starting points for discussing those priorities. For a custom razor manufacturer inquiry, buyers should explain which existing sample comes closest to their requirements and what they want changed. Preferred materials, grip feel, visual references, cartridge selection, and target cost should be considered together, with the feasibility of any new design confirmed during development.
Gift Packaging Deserves Its Own Commercial Assessment
One colleague encountered more requests for gift-box presentations at the exhibition than in their usual online inquiries. That colleague also noted that the offline and online audiences differed, so the observation should not be treated as evidence of a universal shift. Another colleague reported frequent questions about paperboard boxes, indicating that packaging was relevant beyond premium gifting alone.
For brand owners and distributors, these conversations underline the role of packaging in defining an offer. A gift-oriented set and an everyday retail pack can require different product combinations, presentation choices, and cost structures.
Our private label packaging capabilities provide a basis for exploring custom razor packaging alongside product selection. Buyers should clarify whether they need an everyday carton or a gift presentation, what the pack should contain, and how it will be sold. Artwork requirements, intended retail positioning, and packaging budget also need definition. A box admired at the booth is a useful reference, but the final specification should reflect the buyer’s own channel and commercial requirements.

MOQ Questions Are Also Questions About How to Start a Project
Both colleagues identified MOQ as a recurring concern. Some visitors considered the quantities discussed too high for their requirements, and buyers asked whether retaining an existing brand and packaging could reduce the starting quantity. The feedback showed that purchasing commitment was a significant part of supplier evaluation.
For importers, e-commerce brands, and distributors, the opening order must fit an initial sales plan and inventory budget. A product may attract interest while its proposed purchasing terms still require further discussion.
Our OEM/ODM product and packaging options allow the scope of an inquiry to be defined more precisely. Buyers should distinguish essential customization from optional preferences and provide the requested quantity, number of variants, packaging choice, and delivery expectations.
Any MOQ, price, or lead time must be confirmed for the actual configuration. The exhibition questions did not establish that existing packaging automatically qualifies for a lower MOQ. Their value was in identifying what buyers needed clarified before proceeding with samples or a quotation.
Quality Discussions Extended to Connection Stability and User Confidence
Visitors also asked about quality in concrete terms. One colleague noted attention to stability at the handle connection, while another recalled a concern about inexperienced consumers feeling hesitant to use manual razors because of possible cuts. These were different questions, but both related to confidence in the finished product.
For a brand or retailer, perceived quality includes how the product feels during handling and how clearly its intended use is communicated. A premium appearance alone does not resolve questions about assembly or user understanding.
Our handle and cartridge options provide a basis for reviewing a proposed product configuration. During sample discussions, buyers should identify the connection characteristics they want assessed, the intended user group, and any instructions or packaging content they require.
For a system razor OEM project, cartridge compatibility and replacement expectations also deserve explicit clarification. Beginner concerns should inform the product brief and instruction review, without turning into unsupported promises that a manual razor eliminates the possibility of cuts.
